HMGS-South is proud to present Recon 2024 on Apr 24-27th at the Wyndham Orlando Resort & Conference Center/ Celebration. The theme is Rapid Deployment forces, that can be anything from modern special forces, to minutemen, to the Mongol horde. Use your imaginations!

Registration is at https://tabletop.events/conventions/hmgs-south-recon-2024/ . We plan slots starting from 2PM Thursday all the way to Sunday morning, for 9 slots of four hour gaming sessions. The vendors are coming back with items that are specific to your miniature gaming hobbies. We have the Saturday Flea market, where you can pick up bargains.

This year we are adding painting sessions to the schedule, where anyone can come and paint miniatures, or take a class with one of our volunteers. We need proctors to mind the store, and painting tutors to teach classes. If anyone has paints of miniatures to donate for the sessions, it would be appreciated.

We also have had to raise our pricing this year, we want to have the best bargain for your money. Memberships are still $20 for the year and get discounts and member only items. Admission is now $60 for non members but if you are a member it is $45. Vendor rates have gone up as well.
